Who We Are
Mendez Career Consulting Group, LLC (“MCCG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a career consulting business based in Chicago, Illinois.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. It applies to MendezCareerConsulting.com, our contact and consultation forms, the MCCG Interview Pressure Test, the MCCG Client Portal, gift certificates, and the career services we provide.
It does not apply to websites or services run by other companies, even if we link to them.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. You may give us information when you contact us, schedule a consultation, buy or receive a service, take the Interview Pressure Test, use the Client Portal, buy a gift certificate, or sign up for communications. Depending on the service, this may include:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Work history, résumé, and LinkedIn information
- Career goals, interview information, and professional accomplishments
- Messages you send us
- Any other information you choose to share with us
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, our website and service providers may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, the site that referred you, the date and time of your visit, and your approximate location (city or region level, based on your IP address).
Information we do not want. We do not ask for and do not want Social Security numbers, bank account or full payment card numbers, medical or health records, biometric information, driver’s license or other government identification numbers, or immigration documents. Please do not send this information to us through our website, forms, or email. If you send it anyway, we may delete it.
Interview Pressure Test
When you complete the MCCG Interview Pressure Test, we collect:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, only if you choose to give it (it is optional and never required)
- Your answers to the 8 questions
- Your results, including your results profile and your Likely Strength, Biggest Risk, and Watch Closely areas
- The discount code issued to you, its expiration date, and whether it has been used
- Whether you checked the optional box to receive career tips and MCCG updates
- A one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, used only to prevent fraud and duplicate submissions
If you start the test but do not submit it, your answers stay in your browser and are never sent to us or saved. A temporary session record that contains no personal information expires after two hours. To prevent abuse, we also keep a scrambled version of each visitor’s IP address for up to one hour to limit repeated attempts, even if the test is not submitted.
We use this information to show you your results, email your one-time discount code, enforce the one-code-per-email rule, prevent fraud, and, only if you checked the optional box, send you career tips and MCCG updates.
Your results are produced by fixed scoring rules set by MCCG. They are coaching observations, not a psychological, medical, or diagnostic evaluation. The Pressure Test is not employment screening. We do not share your answers or results with employers or recruiters, and they are not used to make any hiring decision about you.

Emails and Text Messages
Service messages. When you use a service, we may send messages needed to provide it, such as appointment confirmations, Client Portal information, purchase receipts, and your Pressure Test discount code.
Marketing emails. We do not add you to a marketing list just because you contact us, take the Pressure Test, schedule a consultation, or buy a service. We send marketing emails only if you choose to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by emailing us.
Text messages. We do not send marketing text messages unless you have separately given us your express written consent to receive them. Giving us your phone number on a form is not consent to receive marketing texts.
Cookies and Website Analytics
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use cookies and similar technologies that are needed for our website and Client Portal to work, for example to keep you signed in.
We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as pages visited, time on site, device and browser type, and approximate location. Google’s use of this information is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings.
We do not send your name, email address, phone number, Pressure Test answers, résumé content, or Client Portal content to our analytics tools.
Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. There is no common industry standard for responding to it, and our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
Other companies’ tracking. Some features on our pages are provided by other companies, such as web fonts, scheduling tools, and embedded videos, and those companies may receive technical information like your IP address when the page loads. Other than these features and the analytics service described above, we do not knowingly allow third parties to collect information about your online activity across other websites through our website.
When We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with other companies for their own marketing.
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Service providers. We use trusted companies to run our business, such as website hosting, email, scheduling, file storage, video meetings, payments, online forms, analytics, and AI-assisted tools. They receive only the information needed to perform their service for us.
- At your direction. For example, if you ask us to send your résumé to a specific recruiter or employer.
- Legal and safety reasons. When required by law, legal process, or a government request, or when reasonably needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of MCCG, our clients, or others, including to prevent fraud.
- Business transfer. If MCCG is sold, merged, or reorganized, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and it will remain subject to this Privacy Policy.
AI-Assisted Tools
We may use AI-assisted tools inside our business to help draft, edit, analyze, and organize work, including preparing career materials and coaching. We limit the information we put into these tools to what is needed for the task. We do not use AI tools to make hiring or eligibility decisions about you, and the Interview Pressure Test is scored by fixed rules, not by AI.
Payments
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. MCCG does not store your full payment card number, bank account number, or complete payment credentials on our website.
Client Portal
The MCCG Client Portal is for authorized clients only. Keep your login information private and do not share your account with others. Client résumés, career documents, coaching notes, and related materials are treated as confidential.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, keeping business, tax, and accounting records, honoring and verifying discount codes, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, and meeting legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information under our control. No website, email, cloud, or electronic storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
Your Choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we keep about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your personal information
- Stop sending you marketing messages
To make a request, email Saul@MendezCareerConsulting.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days. We may keep certain information when we need it for legitimate business, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons, and we will tell you if that applies. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under your state’s law, and we will honor them as required.
Adults Only
Our website, Interview Pressure Test, Client Portal, and services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
